Dillian Whyte appears unlikely to component of if Miller is not able to fight, while he is scheduled to be linked to some other pay-per-view fight in July. Luis Ortiz and Michael Hunter are reportedly potential replacements for Miller.

“Dillian’s program’s to fight in July so I don’t know he’s one of many proposed names,” Smith said. “It’s essential that [Anthony] carries on along with US debut. It was quite a while coming, we’ve already sold 15,000 tickets for any event.”

Miller’s camp, Salita Promotions, acknowledged the adverse finding on Twitter, saying: “We have been in the procedure of obtaining more info about Vada’s finding and definitely will have more to state soon on this developing situation. During their promotional tour for that fight, Miller stated both fighters had consented to between 10 and 3 months of drug testing from the build-up towards bout. Joshua, while in the London leg with the tour, said: “I am on [drug testing scheme] Adams whereabouts, plants know where I am a great hour each day and may even walk in anytime.

“They can turn up any moment during the day which is actually a lifetime commitment. For a nice and on that since 2012 and i also pay 40,000-a-fight to get tested by Vada two times a week.”

Joshua retained his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles as he stopped Alexander Povetkin in September.
