Dodgers set up World Series with Red Sox after Game 7 win over Brewers


Yasiel Puig hit a three-run homer, Chris Taylor designed a key catch and the L . a . Dodgers reached the modern world Series for that second straight year, beating the Milwaukee Brewers 5-1 on Saturday night in Game 7 of the NL Championship Series.

Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw closed out of the win, setting up a showdown while using the Boston Red Sox starting night at Fenway Park. California fell short not too long ago, losing to Houston in Game 7.

Christian Yelich put Milwaukee ahead that has a solo home run inside first inning off rookie Walker Buehler. Cody Bellinger hit a two-run shot inside the second that gave L . a . charge.  Puig broke it open along with his drive inside sixth. He celebrated wildly open the bases as being the Dodgers caused it to be 5-1. Taylor’s running, sliding grab in left-center field were only available in the fifth with all the Dodgers nursing a 2-1 lead. He robbed Yelich of an extra-base hit having a runner on second and also outs.
