Lebron reels off highlights during first game as being an LA Laker

LeBron James rubbed his hands in chalk powder with the scorer’s table, yelled “Yes!” to ecstatic fans, plus the Chicago Lakers’ new trend was underway. “It always feels different personally whenever you change uniforms,” he said. “It felt different while i changed from wearing a St Vincent-St Mary jersey to wearing a Cavs jersey with a Cavs jersey with a Heat jersey, time for a Cavs jersey and then like a Laker. It definitely feels different and has a bit of time becoming accustomed to.” 

Asked until the game what is different about James, Lakers coach Walton said, “His intelligence. He sees everything. He knows just before drills. He knows where he’s going. His work ethic. He’s around pre-practice with all the guys, post-practice when using the guys. Taking care of his body from the weight room. He’s the ultimate professional.” 

The Lakers’ regular-season opener is on 18 October at Portland. Their apartment opener is two nights later against Houston.
