Aniket Mishra has had a long association with quizzing and writing. Starting from his early school days in Asansol, West Bengal to his graduation from Hans Raj College, he has been a prolific quizzer, winning many quizzes conducted at the IITs, IIMs, University of Delhi etc. He was twice national champion in the written prelims of the prestigious ESPN School Quiz and recently won the biggest Sports Quiz of the country- Sports Quest in Guwahati.
As a quizmaster, he has been conducting inter college and open quizzes in and around Delhi for the last five years now and in fact worked as head of research for the 2012 ESPN STAR Sports School Quiz.
Presently he is the Editor in Chief of the online Indian football magazine, Barefoot, which he co-founded in October 2011 and MSR Sports News- a firm which provides football content to over a million people worldwide every year.
Apart from reporting for almost all major events back home, most recently, he was one of the very few journalists from the country who covered the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
